Château Le Coteau Magnum
The magnum bottle is more than just a format—it changes how a wine matures: more slowly, more evenly, with greater depth. Château Le Coteau harnesses precisely this effect to create a red wine with real substance.
We currently have no detailed information on origin and grape varieties — the description will be updated as soon as complete cellar data is available. What the current vintage shows: dark forest berries, violets, and a subtle oak note suggesting barrel aging. The tannins are well-integrated, the texture juicy without heaviness.
Sensory profile: Blackberry and black cherry take center stage, followed by violets and a hint of cedar. Medium to full body, finely structured tannins, and a mineral-driven finish with good length.
Serving suggestion: Room temperature, i.e., 16–18 °C. Pairs well with braised beef, leg of lamb with rosemary, or mature hard cheese. The magnum bottle makes it the perfect, uncomplicated centerpiece for a get-together—enough for six glasses without anyone having to order more.
Do you know what makes one of the last family-run estates in the famous Margaux region so special? It's Château Le Coteau .
For six generations, the Léglise family has cultivated their 12 hectares of vineyards – without herbicides or insecticides. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc grapes grow in the gravelly soils. The result: a full-bodied, velvety wine with notes of cassis and pepper. A true Margaux tradition!
