Champagne Irroy Extra Brut

Champagne Irroy is one of the oldest houses in Reims – founded in 1820, now part of the Taittinger Group. The Extra Brut represents the house's dry style: less than 6 g/l dosage, allowing the natural fruit of the cuvée to shine through unadulterated.

Straw yellow in the glass with a fine, persistent perlage. The nose reveals white blossoms, greengage plum, and candied citrus peel. On the palate, pear and white peach follow, supported by lively acidity and a finish with a hint of pink grapefruit – lean, precise, without any sweetness as a buffer.

Serving temperature 8–10 °C. Enjoy as an aperitif, with oysters, scallops, or a light ceviche. If you prefer champagne with low residual sugar, this is the one for you.

Champagne Irroy

It is the rebirth of a brand founded in 1820. Owned by Champagne Taittinger since the 1950s, the House of Irroy is now experiencing a revival.

Two young men run the business: Maxime Andriveau and cellar master Alexandre Ponnavoy. Their mission is to produce vibrant, fruity champagnes with low dosage.

The Cuvée Extra Brut is aromatic and crisp – perfect as an aperitif. A piece of living Champagne tradition.
