Pazo De Seoane

Pazo de Seoane is the aromatic multivarietal blend from Lagar de Fornelos – the Rioja Alta group winery in O Rosal, Galicia, arguably the most exciting subzone of the Rías Baixas, where the slopes of the Miño Valley meet the Atlantic sea air. The blend of 60% Albariño, 33% Loureiro, 6% Caiño Blanco, and 1% Treixadura comes exclusively from the estate's own vineyards on the slate-rich sandy soils of Finca Silvosa – one of Galicia's most expressive terroirs.

Each grape variety is fermented separately at 15 °C and then aged for six months on the fine lees with regular bâtonnage – a classic Rosal approach that adds texture and depth to the wine without sacrificing its unparalleled freshness.

In the glass, a vibrant, bright greenish-yellow. The nose is intense and complex: floral notes from Loureiro dominate, accompanied by apricot and apple from the Albariño, as well as a citrusy, mineral background from the Caiño. On the palate, lively, refined, and balanced – with an elegant structure, subtle salinity, and a long, sophisticated finish.

Served at 12.5% ABV, ideally at 10–12°C. A natural accompaniment to seafood, grilled fish, rice dishes, fresh cheese, and light Asian cuisine – aromatically complex, with an Atlantic influence, and irresistibly Galician.
