Bisol Relio Extra Brut Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG

A Prosecco that shows what the hills of Valdobbiadene can achieve when one consistently focuses on Extra Brut: low residual sugar, clear structure, real character.

Bisol is one of the oldest and most renowned wineries in the region—the family has been cultivating vines in the Cartizze and Guia vineyards since the 16th century. The Relio comes from single vineyards around Guia, one of the cooler sub-areas of the Valdobbiadene DOCG, where the Glera grape develops a particularly fine acidity.

In the glass, it displays a pale straw yellow color with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose is fresh and precise: white pear, apple blossom, a hint of almond and lemon zest. The Extra Brut style—with less than 6 g/l residual sugar—allows the natural fruit of the grape to speak for itself without encasing it in sweetness. On the palate, lively acidity, a light body, and a dry, minerally fresh finish.

Serving suggestion: Well chilled at 6–8 °C. As an aperitif, with carpaccio, raw fish, mild goat cheese, or Asian summer rolls. Not a wine for aging—drink now.
