Berliner Luft is Germany's most famous peppermint liqueur — 18% ABV, served ice-cold, and has been an integral part of Berlin's nightlife for decades.
Schilkin GmbH has been producing the liqueur in Berlin since the GDR era. What began as a regional product has long since developed into a cult drink throughout Germany — recognizable by its mint-green bottle and the characteristic cooling effect in the finish.
In the glass, clear, fresh peppermint flavors emerge without artificial sweetness taking center stage. The menthol kick is immediate, and the finish is long and cooling. A touch of sweetness balances the spiciness without overpowering the overall character.
