Schilkin – that's Berlin in a bottle. For decades, this traditional Berlin distillery has been producing spirits that fit the city like the TV tower fits the skyline: direct, unpretentious, and with a good dose of charm.

The most recognizable product in the range is Berliner Luft – the ice-cold peppermint liqueur that's as much a part of Berlin parties as the next beat. Neat, as a shot, or in a cocktail: fresh, clear, and somehow always just right. Vegan, made in Berlin – no frills.

Dare to discover the whole world of Schilkin – from classic to surprisingly creative.

About Schilkin

Schilkin –
Traditional Berlin distillery with Russian roots

The history of Schilkin does not begin in Berlin, but in St. Petersburg: Natalie and Apollon Schilkin founded a distillery there around the turn of the century, which found a new home in Berlin in 1921 after the family emigrated. In 1932, the family settled in Berlin-Kaulsdorf, where the company still has its headquarters today. In 1948, Schilkin KG was founded as a family business – and grew in the GDR to become the country's fifth-largest spirits producer, with exports all over the world.

After reprivatization in 1990, Sergei Schilkin continued to lead the company as Schilkin GmbH & Co. KG – in direct family tradition, without detours. The best-known product is Berliner Luft: an ice-cold peppermint liqueur that has been part of the standard repertoire at Berlin parties for decades. Fresh, clear, vegan – neat as a shot or in a cocktail. Now represented in over 50 countries, Schilkin remains loyal to its Kaulsdorf headquarters.

The range extends from this cult liqueur to other spirits that share the same claim: direct, no-frills, with a Berlin portion of stubbornness. Those who know Schilkin know what they are getting – those who don't know it yet will find a good entry point here.
