Bellavista Alma Assemblage 1 DOCG Franciacorta 6.0L

A Franciacorta cuvée in a 6-liter bottle: The Alma Assemblage 1 from Bellavista brings freshness and depth together and is therefore a bottle for large tables and special occasions.

Bellavista is one of the defining addresses of Franciacorta in Lombardy. The cuvée consists of 86% Chardonnay, 13% Pinot Nero, and 1% Pinot Bianco and comes from around 60 selected vineyards. The grapes are harvested by hand and vinified separately; a portion of them matures in small oak barrels. After the assemblage, the wine lies on the lees for at least 30 months, which is where the complexity comes from.

In the glass, straw yellow with fine, persistent perlage. In the nose, Mediterranean flowers and lively citrus notes. On the palate, taut and dynamic; the finish is mineral and carries long. The style is Brut.

Recommendation: As an aperitif for a larger group, with seafood, fish crudo, or roasted veal. Serve it well chilled at about 6 to 8 °C.
