Angostura Rum 3yo white 0.7L

A white rum from Trinidad and Tobago, aged for three years: soft in appearance, fruity instead of sharp, and uncomplicated to use. It works in classic cocktails just as well as on ice.

Angostura was founded in 1824 and has been at home in Trinidad since 1875. The house in Port of Spain is one of the defining names of Caribbean rum culture. This white rum relies on fruit and softness instead of sharpness.

On the nose, exotic fruits, ripe banana, and coconut. On the palate, soft and gentle, the fruit from the bouquet returns, with fine vanilla in the background. The finish remains mild and without edges.

Recommendation: basis for Daiquiri, Mojito, or Piña Colada. With ginger beer and lime, it becomes a quick long drink. Those who have only known rum mixed so far can also try it neat: on ice with a splash of lime or well chilled.

Angostura

Produced in Trinidad since 1824, Angostura Bitters is an essential part of the bar world. What began as a stomach remedy by a German army surgeon is now the most widely used bitter concentrate worldwide. The original Aromatic Bitters – recognizable by the oversized label that is still intentionally placed incorrectly today – brings depth to Old Fashioned, Manhattan, or champagne cocktails with a single dash. In addition, Orange Bitters stand for citrus freshness and Cocoa Bitters for dark, nutty accents. Dosage: sparingly – one to two dashes are enough.
