J&B Rare traces its roots back to the London trading house Justerini & Brooks , which has been dealing in fine wines and spirits since 1749 – one of the oldest names in the industry. The blended Scotch that emerged under this name was deliberately conceived differently from the smoky, peaty whiskies of its time: light in the glass, fruity on the nose, and smooth on the finish.
The base consists of over 42 malt and grain whiskies from various Scottish distilleries.
