Fèlsina –
Red wines from the heart of Chianti Classico

Fèlsina is located in the southern part of Chianti Classico , near Castelnuovo Berardenga – where the hills become more rugged and the Sangiovese grapes grow particularly deep-rooted. The winery has belonged to the Poggiali family since 1966 and is now managed by Giuseppe Mazzocolin, who has consistently focused Fèlsina on quality without losing sight of its connection to the landscape.

The focus is on Sangiovese: structured, with vibrant acidity and a tannic framework designed for aging. The range is complemented by blends with Cabernet Sauvignon, which lend more depth and density to the fundamental Tuscan character. The wines are aged classically in oak barrels – depending on the blend, in large botti or small barriques.

At Vinoscout you'll find five red wines from Fèlsina, ranging from an approachable entry-level wine to a mature Riserva. Prices range from around €38 to just under €97 – a spectrum that allows both a first encounter with the winery and a conscious choice of a vintage with aging potential.
