DFJ Vinhos
DFJ Vinhos is among the most exciting winemakers in Portugal – and for good reason. Behind the winery is José Neiva Correia , one of the country's most experienced oenologists, who works with passion and precision.
What makes DFJ so special? The wines reflect the full diversity of Portugal: from crisp Atlantic whites to deep, characterful reds from the country's best regions. The result is wines that, despite their awards – including Platinum, Gold, and Best Buy – never lose touch with everyday life. Pure drinking pleasure, not awe.
DFJ Vinhos –
Portugal’s diversity in a glass
DFJ Vinhos is the project of José Neiva Correia, one of Portugal's most renowned oenologists. His driving force is not a niche, but the entire country: Correia works with grapes from a wide variety of regions – from the Atlantic-influenced coastal areas to the hot, dry inland regions of the Tagus and Alentejo.
The result is a range that reflects the breadth of Portugal's winemaking : light, saline white wines with plenty of freshness on the one hand, and dense, tannic reds with depth on the other. International awards – including platinum medals and Best Buy ratings – accompany many of the wines, without diminishing their approachability.
Those who want to get to know Portuguese grape varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Aragonez or Fernão Pires will find a reliable entry point at DFJ Vinhos – and for connoisseurs enough depth to keep coming back.
