Portugal’s diversity in a glass
DFJ Vinhos is not a typical family winery that has been cultivating the same hill for generations. Behind the project is José Neiva Correia, one of Portugal's most experienced oenologists, who knows the country and its grape varieties like few others – and for that very reason is not tied to a single region. From the Atlantic-influenced Lisboa coast to the hot sites of the Alentejo, he draws from a broad pool of terroirs and indigenous varieties.
The result is wines that honestly reflect Portugal's breadth: fresh, salty white wines with cool fruit on one side, dense reds with dark berry fruit and the typical grip of Portuguese tannins on the other. Awards such as Platinum and Gold as well as regular Best Buy ratings in international guides prove the consistency – without the wines losing their everyday character.
