Portada Tinto Medium Sweet

A medium-sweet red wine from Portugal that openly displays its strengths: ripe fruit, a soft texture, and pleasant residual sweetness, which makes the wine accessible even for beginners or for relaxed evenings.

DFJ Vinhos is one of Portugal's largest and most active wineries. The house works with grape varieties from all over the country and is known for producing uncomplicated, easy-drinking wines of good quality. The Portada line is aimed at a broad audience and avoids complexity in favor of accessibility.

In the glass, the wine glows in a rich ruby red. The nose opens with aromas of blackberry compote, ripe cherries, and a hint of honey. Soft and round on the palate, with noticeable but not sticky residual sweetness, medium body, and low tannin — the finish is short and fruity.

• Temperature: 14–16 °C, serve slightly chilled
• Pairs with: Spicy dishes such as chili, BBQ ribs, or teriyaki chicken — the residual sweetness balances heat well. Also with strong blue cheese or as a dessert companion to dark chocolate
