Château Roc de Levraut —
sustainable Bordeaux from Sauveterre de Guyenne

Château Roc de Levraut is located in southeastern Bordeaux, in the hilly landscape around Sauveterre de Guyenne — a region that is less well-known than Pauillac or Saint-Émilion, but produces independent, characterful wines with its limestone-clay terroir. On 40 hectares, Rémi Ballardin manages the vines with a small team of five people who accompany the entire vintage from pruning to bottling.

In the cellar, Bordeaux Rouge and Bordeaux Supérieur are created, based on Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The wines show the typical structure of the right bank — dark fruit, soft tannins, a pleasant finish — and are suitable for a dinner during the week as well as for a special occasion. Exports go to over a dozen countries, from Germany to Japan.
