Château Maison Blanche

Château Maison Blanche is located in Yvorne – one of Switzerland's most prestigious wine-growing regions. What makes this winery so special begins literally in the soil: A landslide from 1584 scoured the terraces with limestone and alpine sediments, creating a terroir that is truly unique.

On 8 hectares of steep slopes, vines grow, tended by hand – with the utmost respect for this exceptional place. In the cellar, the winemaker continues a century-old tradition, aging the wines in oak barrels. The result: top-quality wines that make their origin palpable in every sip.

Château Maison Blanche –
Yvorne and a terroir that made history

Château Maison Blanche is located in Yvorne , one of the most prestigious wine-growing villages in the Vaud Chablais region. What sets this winery apart begins deep in the soil: a landslide in 1584 mixed the slopes with limestone and alpine sediments, creating a terroir that exists nowhere else in this form. On 8 hectares of steep terraces, the vines are cultivated exclusively by hand – an effort that is reflected in every glass.

In the cellar, the winemaker continues a tradition over a century old. The wines mature in oak barrels, which gives them structure and depth without masking the character of the terroir. The result is Chasselas with a precision rarely found: fresh acidity, a mineral core of limestone and schist, and a long, slightly salty finish. Wines that pair equally well with whitefish fillet from Lake Geneva and a mature Vacherin Fribourgeois.
