Château Castera is located in the Médoc – that narrow strip of land north of Bordeaux which has been one of the world's most important wine regions for centuries. The estate holds the coveted Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel status, placing it among the very best in its class.

What emerges here are wines with depth and character: classically Bordeaux, but never stuffy. Whether the powerful Médoc, the fresh Bordeaux Blanc Anthoinette , or the ambitious Les Essais line – Castera demonstrates that tradition and a spirit of discovery complement each other beautifully.

about Château Castera Cru Bourgeois Médoc

Château Castera –
Médoc with depth and attitude

Château Castera is located in the heart of the Médoc, on that narrow strip of land north of Bordeaux that has set standards for classic red wine since the 17th century. The estate holds the status of Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel – a classification that is regularly re-evaluated and requires true consistency in quality.

The wines from Castera follow the Bordeaux canon: Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, aged with care and patience. The Médoc shows dark fruit, structured tannins, and a long finish – a wine that takes time and rewards it. Alongside this, the Bordeaux Blanc Anthoinette stands for the fresh, aromatic side of the estate, while the Les Essais line takes a more experimental approach and shows what Castera can do beyond the classics.

Anyone who understands Bordeaux not as a museum, but as a living wine region, will find bottles with character and origin here – solidly crafted, without complacency.
