Cantina Diomede from Apulia bears a name deeply rooted in mythology: The Homeric hero Diomede is said to have once landed in southern Italy and brought with him the vines from which Uva di Troia was created – one of the most fascinating grape varieties of the region.

In the heart of these legendary fields, the Campi Diomede, what began centuries ago continues to grow: wines with character, matured in oak barrels, combining tradition with modern cellar technology. Robust, profound, and with a true Apulian soul – history is in every sip.

What our customers say

Cantina Diomede –
Apulian wine culture from the Campi Diomede

Cantina Diomede bears a name with weight: the Homeric hero Diomedes is said to have once landed on the Apulian coast and brought with him the vines from which Uva di Troia originated – one of the most idiosyncratic grape varieties in Southern Italy, deeply rooted in the landscape of the Campi Diomede north of Bari.

Right there, in the middle of these mythically charged fields, grow the grapes that Cantina Diomede vinifies into wines with real substance. Aged in oak barrels, they combine traditional Apulian craftsmanship with modern cellar technology – the result is red wines that show depth and structure without denying their origin.

Anyone who drinks the wines from Cantina Diomede gets Apulia in its most concentrated form: dark fruit, spicy depth, and a finish that reminds one of sun-dried earth and olive groves. Suitable for braised lamb, aged Pecorino, or a long evening with good bread.
