Bresca Dorada – since 1989 a guarantee of quality for the typical Mirto di Sardegna, that tart and fruity digestif said to have invigorating properties. In southwestern Sardinia, at the foot of Mount Liuru, the distillery captures the island's intense aromas: prickly pear, quince, wild fennel, rosemary – and citrus fruits from the Muravera region. All natural, all produced with respect for nature. From the very beginning, Paolo Melis and Enrico Diana have focused on sustainable development: they use only what nature provides in abundance. No exploitation – just genuine, delicious craftsmanship.

Bresca Dorada –
Sardinia's herbs and fruits in a glass
Bresca Dorada has stood for handcrafted liqueurs from southwestern Sardinia since 1989. At the foot of Mount Liuru, not far from the citrus groves of Muravera, Paolo Melis and Enrico Diana collect what the island has in abundance: myrtle berries for the classic Mirto di Sardegna, prickly pears, quince, wild fennel, and rosemary.
The approach is consistently natural – no laboratory flavors, no raw materials from outside. What ends up in the glass grows on the island. The result is digestifs with a depth rarely found in industrially produced products: the Mirto is tart and fruity with distinct berry spice, the prickly pear version is softer and more floral, and the fennel version has a dry, almost bitter length.
Anyone who knows Sardinian cuisine – grilled lamb, Pecorino, Seadas with honey – knows that a good Mirto at the end of the evening is no coincidence. The liqueurs from Bresca Dorada fit perfectly into this moment: not too sweet, with genuine character and the scent of the macchia in the background.
