Bresca Dorada Mirto Rosso 0.7L

Mirto Rosso is Sardinia's most famous liqueur — originating from the rural tradition of steeping red myrtle berries in alcohol after the autumn harvest. Bresca Dorada from Cagliari is one of the few producers who still work according to this tradition: ripe myrtle berries, Sardinian honey, no artificial flavorings.

Deep ruby red in the glass. On the nose, aromas of wild berries, resin, and a subtle herbal note. Sweet on the palate, but with a pleasant bitterness in the finish—the honey rounds it out without being overpowering.

Classically served well chilled as a digestif after a long meal. Pairs well with Pecorino Sardo, dark chocolate, or almond biscuits. Also interesting as a base for a Spritz with dry Prosecco.

Bresca Dorada

Bresca Dorada – since 1989 a guarantee of quality for the typical Mirto di Sardegna, that tart and fruity digestif said to have invigorating properties. In southwestern Sardinia, at the foot of Mount Liuru, the distillery captures the island's intense aromas: prickly pear, quince, wild fennel, rosemary – and citrus fruits from the Muravera region. All natural, all produced with respect for nature. From the very beginning, Paolo Melis and Enrico Diana have focused on sustainable development: they use only what nature provides in abundance. No exploitation – just genuine, delicious craftsmanship.
