Alpe Magna
Alpe Magna –
Trentino craftsmanship since 1953
Alpe Magna traces its roots back to the Simonetto Carni butcher shop, which Mario Simonetto opened in Castelnuovo, Trentino, in 1953. For over seven decades, the family has refined its knowledge of meat, ingredients, and recipes – and this craftsmanship is reflected in every jar of the brand today.
The ragùs and sauces are made by hand in small kettles using fresh, regional ingredients, Italian extra virgin olive oil, and wines from Trentino. No jar contains chemical additives or preservatives – everything inside comes from the region and tastes like it. The Ragù di Cinghiale, for example, made with wild boar, brings the robust flavor of the Trentino mountains directly to your plate.
Anyone who takes pasta al ragù seriously will find products at Alpe Magna that don't hide behind convenience: honest ingredients, traditional recipes, a result that goes well with a glass of Teroldego or Lagrein.
