Sour cherries are mainly grown in orchards. For our brandy, we use sour cherries from Swabia and gypsy cherries from Burgenland. The brandy develops a sweet and sour fruitiness without masking the strong cherry notes. An excellent brandy for lovers of highly aromatic spirits. Enjoy it as a digestif or as an accompaniment to a dessert with a complementary fruit (cakes), or even marzipan. Taste: Smooth and elegant finish, long and fruity, soft and mild, with a vibrant intensity and highly aromatic. Aroma: Typical varietal fruit aroma, slightly floral, delicately fragrant, and fruitily fresh.
The German fine fruit distillery Ziegler – founded in 1865 in Freudenberg am Main. Originally a brewery, the company remains rooted in this Baden-Württemberg town to this day.
