Harvested by cone pickers in the quarries of Franconia. Wild-growing cherries with little, but very aromatic pulp. Distinctive and very persistent finish. Elegant, with a hint of sweetness. The delicate fruitiness of this brandy is always excellent as a digestif or as a complementary flavor to desserts (e.g., cherry desserts and all variations of marzipan). Taste: Smooth and elegant finish, long and fruity, soft and mild, robust, highly aromatic. Nose: Typical varietal fruit aroma, slightly floral, delicately fragrant, fruity and fresh.
The German fine fruit distillery Ziegler – founded in 1865 in Freudenberg am Main. Originally a brewery, the company remains rooted in this Baden-Württemberg town to this day. Ideal conditions: nutrient-rich soil, a mild climate, and locally grown fruit, which is handcrafted into exquisite distillates.
