Pinot Blanc Qualitätswein trocken Reserve

Pinot Blanc with a real backbone: This Reserve shows what the grape variety can achieve when given time and careful aging — not a pleasing everyday wine, but a wine with substance and attitude.

On the nose, a herbal-yeasty profile opens up with ripe pear and fine roasted notes, plus an unusual hint of peanut — a typical sign of good yeast aging with sufficient contact time. On the palate, the wine confirms this impression: finely juicy and taut at the same time, with a firm body and noticeable backbone. The acidity is lively, but never edgy. Cinnamon, a touch of mint or lemon balm, and again the subtle roasted notes accompany a long, very dry finish. Despite the tautness, the wine appears remarkably balanced and harmonious — complexity without heaviness.

Pinot Blanc of this style needs some air: best to open 30 minutes before drinking and serve at 10–12 °C. Although it should become even rounder with another year in the cellar.
