Schlossberg Spätburgunder GG Trocken,

The Schlossberg vineyard is one of Franconia's great Pinot Noir sites—steep, hot, and terraced. Rudolf Fürst, the benchmark Pinot Noir winery in Germany, produces a red wine here with depth and warmth that immediately captures the unique character of this site.

The winery in Bürgstadt is located in the Franconian Spessart region, directly on the Main River. As early as 1646, topographer Merian praised the wine from Klingenberg as so precious that it was "widely acclaimed." Rudolf Fürst has reinforced this reputation for decades with biodynamically cultivated steep slopes and consistently artisanal winemaking. The Schlossberg vineyard is one of the estate's hottest sites—terraces of red sandstone, extreme incline, and maximum sun exposure.

In the glass, the wine reveals the potential of this vineyard: red sour cherry , a hint of pomegranate, and a silky-fiery texture that warms the palate without feeling heavy. The tannins are ripe and supple, the finish long and spicy with a mineral note that hints at the variegated sandstone soil.
