Saveur Sparkling White Tea-Bergamot

An alcohol-free aperitif that captures the aroma of a zero-dosage champagne – without alcohol, but with real complexity from three carefully selected ingredients.

Behind Saveur lies a clear concept: Vinoscout has combined Sicilian bergamots, white tea from Yunnan, and black tea from Sri Lanka into a sparkling beverage that can easily compete as an aperitif. The bergamots are harvested fully ripe in Sicily and pressed into juice on-site. The white tea comes from the mountainous region of Yunnan – with its calcareous soils and cool altitudes – where only the first buds and leaves are harvested in spring. Gentle drying without oxidation preserves the delicate, subtle character of the leaves. The black tea from Sri Lanka rounds out the profile with a richer body.

A bright, golden sparkle is visible in the glass. The nose is dominated by bergamot – citrusy freshness, slightly floral, with a hint of bitter orange. On the palate, the tart, almost soapy-delicate notes of white tea follow, before the black tea component adds body and a slightly tannic finish. Caffeine content: minimal.

Ideal as an aperitif at 8–10 °C , with light appetizers, sushi or oysters – or anywhere a champagne glass would be on the table, but alcohol is not an option.
