Saveur Sparkling Quince Essence

Saveur Sparkling Quince Essence
Alcohol-free, but not without character: This cuvée from the Lake Constance region combines fermented apples and pears from local producers with natural quince juice and caffeine-free Ceylon black tea – and stylistically ends up closer to Brut Champagne than to a fruit juice.
Saveur Sparkling Quince Essence is the product of meticulous craftsmanship: apples and pears are fermented, and the alcohol is then gently removed. What remains is a yeasty, slightly bitter base with genuine depth of fermentation. Quince juice adds a spicy freshness, while Ceylon black tea provides a subtly tannic structure. Aging in oak barriques gives the drink an additional layer: delicate vanilla and a hint of toast.
The glass reveals aromas of fresh quince, dried pear, and black tea, underpinned by a woody and spicy note. The finish is dry and slightly bitter – the promise of a Brut wine is fulfilled.
Serving suggestion: Serve well chilled at 6–8 °C. Pairs well as an aperitif, with goat cheese, salmon tartare, or a light risotto. An honest option for those who don't want to forgo complexity in their glass at dinner.
