And that will never change as long as this building bears my family's name!" says Andreas Roner. Based on an old monastery recipe, a wide variety of herbs are processed under the strictest secrecy. The interplay of these various Alpine herbs enhances the invigorating effect of this herbal bitter. It is not a bitter liqueur but rather dry, all-natural, and without added sugar. The old monastery recipe rightly calls it an "elixir of life."
