The Rocca Ventosa Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOP shows what the Montepulciano grape variety is capable of in the Abruzzo region: a powerful, characterful red wine with genuine regional identity – now in an elegant magnum bottle (1.5 l).

In the glass, it presents itself in a deep ruby red with violet reflections. The nose opens with ripe dark cherries, black plums, and a fine undertone of tobacco, earth, and dried herbs – typical of the mineral character of the Abruzzo soils. On the palate, it is full-bodied and structured, with velvety tannins, lively fruit sweetness, and a long, spicy finish. The alcohol content of 13% is well-integrated and contributes to the harmonious balance.

As a DOP-certified wine, the Rocca Ventosa is subject to the strict quality requirements of the protected designation of origin Montepulciano d'Abruzzo – from hand-picking to the maximum permitted hectare yield and the minimum maturation period.

The magnum bottle matures more slowly and evenly than the standard bottle – ideal for parties, long dinners, or as an extraordinary gift for wine enthusiasts. Serving temperature: 16–18 °C.
