Risotto with truffle

Risotto al tartufo from La Balocchina is a ready-made blend of Italian round-grain rice, granulated broth, and summer truffle — all balanced so that a complete risotto is created in a few minutes. La Balocchina stands for artisanal pasta and risotto specialties from Italy.

In the pot, the summer truffle unfolds an earthy aroma that permeates the rice evenly. Small clumps in the blend are normal — the included broth absorbs moisture and dissolves completely during cooking.

The risotto pairs with braised dishes in autumn and winter, but also with a salad with walnuts and fresh mushrooms. Serve with a Barbera d'Asti or a light Nebbiolo that carries the truffle note without masking it.
