Raphael Midoir Crémant de Loire Brut Nature

A Crémant de Loire Brut Nature from Raphael Midoir — no dosage, zero grams of residual sugar. What counts is solely the fruit and natural ripening: 24 months on the lees after traditional bottle fermentation, significantly longer than the AOC minimum requirement of nine months.

On the nose, ripe peach, brioche, and melted butter—signs of extended lees aging. On the palate, lean and precise: fine bubbles, lively acidity, and a dry finish with a hint of walnut. Awarded a gold medal at the Concours des Vins du Val de Loire .

Excellent as an aperitif, and equally delicious with grilled fish, asparagus, or mild goat cheese. Serving temperature 7–9 °C.

Raphael Midoir

Domaine de Bellevue – Loire wine with a distinctive touch. Raphaël Midoir runs the estate in Chémery, near the Châteaux of Cheverny and Chambord, in the fifth generation. 27 hectares in the AOC Touraine, cultivated with meticulous care and respect for the terroir. His passion is Sauvignon Blanc. Vines between 5 and 35 years old grow on siliceous clay soils. 20 hectares are planted with white grapes, 7 with red. Mild climate, low rainfall. "My wines reflect my character," says Raphaël. The climate, the age of the vines, the soil preparation, the patience – all of this is in every bottle. Loire as it should taste.
