Raphael Midoir Touraine-Oisly
This terroir wine is vinified from the "Plaine des Cailloux" parcel. This single vineyard is located in the Touraine Oisly appellation, a small appellation of 40 hectares. At first glance, the pale gold hue displays platinum reflections. A delicate nose opens with notes of grapefruit, followed by quince and other fruits. The palate is rich and fresh, where lychee and the fruit of passion emerge, all based on a subtle balance between structure and roundness. The finish offers a hint of candied mandarin. This mineral and complex Sauvignon Blanc pairs perfectly with pike-perch fillet or monkfish with creamy sauce, local crayfish, or walnut scallops, all served with basmati rice. Guide Hachette 2021: 2 stars and Coup de Coeur. Concours des Vins de Loire 2021: Gold Medal.

Domaine de Bellevue – Loire wine with a distinctive touch. Raphaël Midoir runs the estate in Chémery, near the Châteaux of Cheverny and Chambord, in the fifth generation. 27 hectares in the AOC Touraine, cultivated with meticulous care and respect for the terroir. His passion is Sauvignon Blanc. Vines between 5 and 35 years old grow on siliceous clay soils. 20 hectares are planted with white grapes, 7 with red. Mild climate, low rainfall. "My wines reflect my character," says Raphaël. The climate, the age of the vines, the soil preparation, the patience – all of this is in every bottle. Loire as it should taste.
