Raphael Midoir Touraine-Oisly
This terroir wine is vinified from the "Plaine des Cailloux" plot. The single vineyard is located in the Touraine Oisly appellation, a small appellation of 40 ha.
At first glance, the pale gold tint presents platinum reflections. A delicate nose opens with notes of grapefruit, then quince and fruits. The palate is rich and fresh, where lychee and passion fruit are found, the whole resting on a subtle balance between structure and roundness. In the finish with a hint of candied mandarin.
This mineral and complex Sauvignon pairs perfectly with a zander fillet or monkfish with creamy sauce, local crayfish, or walnut scallops, all served with basmati rice.

The Domaine
Domaine de Bellevue – Loire wine with a signature. Raphaël Midoir runs the winery in Chémery, near the castles of Cheverny and Chambord, in the fifth generation. 30 hectares in the AOC Touraine, with great care and respect for the terroir.
His passion is Sauvignon Blanc. Vines between 5 and 35 years old grow on pebbly clay soils. 20 hectares of white grapes, 7 hectares of red. Mild climate, little rainfall.
The climate, the age of the vines, the preparation of the soils, the patience – all of that is in every bottle. Loire as it should taste.
