Raphael Midoir Touraine Sauvignon Blanc

Raphael Midoir Touraine Sauvignon Blanc
A Touraine-Sauvignon that shows what the Loire Valley can do beyond the big names: mineral, precise and with a real drinkability.
Raphael Midoir works in the heart of Touraine, where Sauvignon Blanc speaks its own unique language on calcareous tuff and flint soils. The 2021 Hachette Guide awarded this wine two stars and the Coup de Coeur—one of the rarer accolades of the vintage.
On the nose, it displays citrus peel, white blossoms, and a hint of green herbs. On the palate, it is compact and firmly structured, with a clear acidity and a mineral, lingering finish—typical of a good Touraine Sauvignon from the Silex vineyard.
Serving temperature: 10–12 °C. Pairs well with pike-perch fillet, monkfish with a light butter sauce, scallops, or local crayfish. It also goes well with a goat cheese from the Loire region. Ready to drink now, but best enjoyed within the next two years.
