Puro Corte

Puro Corte
Puro Corte is the cuvée of Dieter Meier – art provocateur, musician, entrepreneur – who has been making wine on his own in Mendoza, Argentina, since the 1990s. This is no hobby winery: Puro stands for consistent quality from one of the region's best high-altitude vineyards.
In the glass, a deep, dark red with a violet rim. The nose reveals ripe plum, blackcurrant, and a hint of tobacco. On the palate, it offers power without heaviness: the tannins are ripe and silky, the fruit juicy and clear, rounded off by notes of clove and a touch of cedar from oak aging. The finish is long and lingers with a pleasant hint of spice.
