Puro Malbec Cabernet Sauvignon

Puro Malbec Cabernet Sauvignon
Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon from Mendoza – two grape varieties that develop their aromatic depth in the Argentinian Andes. This red wine from Puro Dieter Meier demonstrates just how approachable and enjoyable the style from this region can be.
Behind the label is the Swiss entrepreneur and artist Dieter Meier, who has been producing wine in Mendoza, Argentina, since the 1990s. His estates are located in Luján de Cuyo, one of Mendoza's most prestigious sub-regions, known for its fully ripened Malbec grapes grown at altitudes of over 900 meters.
In the glass, the Puro displays a deep ruby color. The nose offers ripe cherry, plum, and a hint of blackberry, underpinned by a subtle spiciness. On the palate, it is juicy and rounded, with soft tannins that give the wine a pleasant drinkability. The finish is fruity and short to medium – not a wine for decanting, but for drinking straight away.
