Pouilly-Fumé Domaine de la Loge Silex
A classic Pouilly-Fumé from the heart of the Loire — with the clear, mineral profile that made the region famous.
The Domaine de la Loge is located in Pouilly-sur-Loire in the eastern Loire Valley, one of France's most important Sauvignon Blanc growing areas. The addition Silex refers to the flint soil on which these vines stand — a soil type that gives the wine a characteristic smokiness and sharpness that truly justifies the name "Fumé".
A bright gold shows in the glass. On the nose, lemon zest, white grapefruit, and a hint of smoke — the typical Silex fingerprint. Slim and precise on the palate: lively acidity, a salty pull, green gooseberry in the middle, supple length without heaviness. The finish is dry and fresh, with a fine mineral texture.
- Serving temperature: 10–12 °C
- Pairs with: Goat cheese (classic with Loire wines), grilled sea bream, asparagus with hollandaise, or light seafood dishes

Loire wine with passion. In the heart of Saint-Andelain, in a place called Soumard, lies the family estate, founded in the 19th century. Here, only the traditional grape varieties Sauvignon Blanc and Chasselas are cultivated – in respect for their ancestors. David Millet is a champion of quality. His goal: to express the terroir, especially the flinty soil structure. Traditional winemaking meets modern techniques to preserve the original quality. His wish? That wine lovers experience a pleasure during tasting that is equal to the passion that drives him.
