MAN Vintners Chenin Blanc

MAN Vintners Chenin Blanc
South Africa's Chenin Blanc is one of the most exciting white wines of the New World – and MAN Vintners shows with this bottling why the Western Cape region is much more than an insider tip.
The winery was founded by three friends whose wives – Mariette, Adele, and Natasha – brought the initials in the name to life. MAN Vintners works with experienced grape growers from the Western Cape region and focuses on approachable, single-varietal wines with a clear emphasis on fruit and freshness.
In the glass, the Chenin Blanc displays aromas of guava, ripe melon, and a hint of citrus peel. The acidity is lively without being sharp, the body light to medium, and the finish short and clean. An uncomplicated wine that doesn't require a long adjustment period.
Recommendation: Serve well chilled at 8–10 °C. Pairs well with shrimp with garlic butter, a light chicken curry, or a fresh goat cheese salad. Also a good choice as an aperitif on the patio. Best enjoyed young – within the next 1–2 years.
