MAN Vintners Cabernet Sauvignon

MAN Vintners Cabernet Sauvignon
Full-bodied, approachable, with a core of dark fruit — the MAN Vintners Cabernet Sauvignon from South Africa delivers exactly what you would expect from this grape variety, without any detours.
MAN Vintners is a joint venture of three families from the Bottelary Hills area in Stellenbosch. The name stands for the first names of the founding women — Marie, Anette, Nicky — and the philosophy behind it is as clear as the approach: handcrafted wines from good vineyards, fairly priced, without marketing gimmicks.
In the glass, the Cabernet Sauvignon displays a deep ruby red. The nose offers aromas of cassis and black plum, along with a hint of toasty notes suggesting aging in oak barrels. On the palate, it is full-bodied and juicy, with ripe and soft tannins—no harshness, no dryness. The finish is long, with a subtle hint of cedar and dark chocolate.
Serving temperature: 16–18 °C. Pairs well with grilled beef, lamb chops with rosemary, or a spicy chili con carne. Also a simple and enjoyable drink on its own for an evening on the patio.

Man Vintners focuses on quality wines that offer outstanding value for money and come in attractive packaging. José Condé and the brothers Tyrrell and Philip Myburgh began producing wine in 2001. Their best-selling wines are Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as the Shiraz and Pinotage varieties, which are highly regarded in Stellenbosch.
