MAN Vintners Shiraz

MAN Vintners Shiraz
An approachable Shiraz from South Africa that displays classic varietal characteristics: ripe plum, red berry fruits and a warm spiciness from barrel aging.
MAN Vintners is a joint project of three South African winemaking families from the Western Cape region. The name stands for the initials of the three founders and reflects their ambition to produce well-crafted, robust wines with broad character – without unnecessary fuss, but with a clear style.
In the glass, the Shiraz displays aromas of ripe plum and dark red berries, underpinned by vanilla and a hint of clove — a result of 12 months of aging in American oak barrels (25% first use). The tannins are velvety and rounded, the acidity restrained, and the finish warm and medium-long.
