Malterdingen Spätburgunder Rosé dry QW Baden 0.75L

A rosé that shows what Pinot Noir in Baden can achieve when consistently designed for finesse: delicately colored, precise, with clear structure instead of a fruit bomb.

The Bernhard Huber winery in Malterdingen is one of the defining addresses in the Breisgau. Since Julian Huber took over responsibility, he has consistently continued his father's Burgundy-oriented line — even with the rosé. The grapes grow on limestone-influenced soils, which give the wine a basic mineral tension. The estate farms organically.

In the glass, the wine glows in a light salmon pink. Aromas of strawberry and raspberry, plus a hint of white pepper and floral notes. The palate is dry and taut, the acidity enlivens without stinging, the finish shows a pleasant brevity and cleanliness.

Served well-chilled at 8–10 °C, it pairs with grilled vegetables, goat cheese, light pasta salad, or as a companion to a summery dinner on the terrace.
