Los Vascos Cromas Cabernet Sauvignon Gran Reserva

A Cabernet Sauvignon from the Colchagua Valley that shows what the cool foothills of the Santa Lucia coastal cordillera can bring out of this grape variety: dense fruit, clear structure, long finish.

Los Vascos has been part of Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) since 1988 and cultivates around 1,000 hectares in the Colchagua Valley. The Cromas line represents hand-picked grapes from the estate's best parcels, harvested late in the season under gentle sunlight at the foot of the Santa Lucia hills.

In the glass, the wine shines a deep ruby ​​red. The nose opens with red fruits – blackberry, ripe plum – and a floral background. After twelve months of aging in barriques (half new oak) and subsequent bottle aging, notes of tobacco, bay leaf, and a hint of graphite emerge. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, with well-integrated tannins and a spicy finish with lingering length.
