Los Vascos Sauvignon Blanc

Los Vascos Sauvignon Blanc
A Sauvignon Blanc that perfectly embodies the grape variety: fresh, aromatic, and with the ripeness imparted by the Chilean climate.
Los Vascos is located in the Colchagua Valley, one of Chile's most prestigious wine regions. The winery is co-owned by the Bordeaux-based Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) family—a blend of European winemaking philosophy and Chilean fruit intensity. The vineyards benefit from the influence of the Pacific Ocean, which ensures cool nights and slow ripening.
In the glass, the wine reveals aromas of gooseberry, citrus grass, and a hint of white grapefruit. The palate is lean, with lively acidity and a clean, mineral finish—without heaviness, but with impact.
- Food: Grilled sea bass, goat cheese, green asparagus or Asian dishes with coriander and lime
- Temperature: 8–10 °C
- Occasion: Summer evening, aperitif or light lunch
Los Vascos brings Chilean wines with French flair and pure Andean power to the glass. This winery from the Colchagua Valley combines barrel-aged elegance with the wild freshness of the Chilean landscape – sun, wind, and cool nights create wines with soul.
The focus is on Carmenère , which here appears juicy, spicy, and full of dark berry notes. The red wines display velvety tannins, fresh acidity, and a hint of spice – typical of Los Vascos' balanced style, which is immediately inviting.
Here you'll find wines that combine South American temperament with European refinement. Perfect for anyone who enjoys robust, characterful red wines that are simply fun to drink.
