Lisa Bunn Pinot Noir
An approachable Pinot Noir from Rheinhessen — red-fruited, with the fine smoothness that the grape variety can show in good hands.
The Lisa Bunn winery is located in Nierstein, one of the most traditional wine-growing regions in Rheinhessen. The winery works using traditional methods and specializes in Burgundy grape varieties — Lisa Bunn herself stands for a clear stylistic approach: fruit takes center stage, with oak providing a framework, not the main focus.
In the glass, the Pinot Noir displays the typical light ruby red color of the grape variety. The nose offers aromas of sour cherry and strawberry, underpinned by a hint of vanilla and a slightly spicy note from the barrel aging. On the palate, it is light-bodied, with soft tannins and fresh acidity – the finish is short but clean.
Serving temperature: 14–16 °C. Pairs well with grilled salmon, pasta with tomato sauce, or mild goat cheese. Drink now—not a wine for long aging, but an uncomplicated everyday companion.
