Landerer Pinot Blanc & Chardonnay Quality Wine Dry
Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay complement each other here to create a dry white wine with real substance: herbaceous, fresh and with a finish that lingers longer than expected.
The Landerer winery is located in the Markgräflerland, the southernmost part of Baden, where the proximity to Burgundy and Alsace is palpable – in the style, the climate, and the approach to Pinot Blanc and Chardonnay. The limestone and loess loam soils give the wines their mineral backbone.
On the nose, the wine displays herbal spice, apple, and grapefruit – a harmonious interplay between the creamy smoothness of the Chardonnay and the straightforward freshness of the Pinot Blanc. On the palate, it is delicately juicy, with a firm structure and a saline minerality that enlivens the finish. No heaviness, no oak notes – a wine that maintains its tension.
