KWV (Kooperative Wijnbouwers Vereniging) is a South African wine cooperative group founded in 1918 and based in the Paarl region. The current CEO is Boyce Lloyd. Through close cooperation with the majority of South African wineries, KWV partially regulated and controlled the South African wine market. Its closest partners include the wineries KWV The Mentors, Cathedral Cellars, Roodeberg, Laborie, Pearl Bay, Café Culture, Golen Kaan, and African Passion. The wines produced are made from grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinotage, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Shiraz.
