KWV (Kooperative Wijnbouwers Vereniging) is a South African wine cooperative group founded in 1918 and based in the Paarl region. The current CEO is Boyce Lloyd. Through close cooperation with the majority of South African wineries, KWV partially regulated and controlled the South African wine market. Its closest partners include the wineries KWV The Mentors, Cathedral Cellars, Roodeberg, Laborie, Pearl Bay, Café Culture, Golen Kaan, and African Passion. The wines produced are made from grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinotage, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Shiraz.

KWV — the Kooperative Wijnbouwers Vereiniging — was founded in 1918 in the Paarl Valley and is thus one of the oldest and most influential wine producers in South Africa. Over decades, the company significantly shaped the South African wine market by working closely with the majority of the country's wineries and setting common quality standards.
Today, KWV stands for a broad portfolio that ranges from powerful Cabernet Sauvignon and the typically South African Pinotage to fresh Sauvignon Blanc and full-bodied Chardonnay. Well-known labels such as Cathedral Cellars, Roodeberg, and The Mentors work under the umbrella of KWV — each with its own style profile that reflects the diversity of the Cape region.
Under the leadership of Boyce Lloyd, KWV today combines the experience of a long cooperative tradition with modern cellar craftsmanship.
