Kaisermantel Rosé dry
An uncomplicated rosé that is immediately convincing after a long day: fresh, red fruity, dry.
Dr. Köhler is a winery in Rheinhessen known for approachable, everyday wines. Their Kaisermantel Rosé is made, among other grapes, from Merlot , which is vinified as a white wine – meaning the grapes have only brief skin contact, which explains the light, salmon-colored hue and the delicate structure.
In the glass, aromas of red currant and strawberry emerge, underpinned by a hint of blossoms and fresh grasses. On the palate, the wine remains lean, with lively acidity and a short, clean finish.
Served at 8–10 °C , it pairs well with light summer dishes: tomato and mozzarella, grilled sea bream, vegetable quiche, or a simple charcuterie board. It also makes a great aperitif on the terrace.
Dr. Köhler makes wines that reflect his own personality: down-to-earth, direct, and full of joie de vivre. This Rheinhessen winery stands for wines that don't pretend – wines that always show their origin and what they are.
The range follows a clear logic: bronze for the estate wines, silver for the village wines, gold for the single-vineyard wines – and a little color for the concept wines, which are simply meant to be fun. This way you always know what to expect.
