Helan Mountain Range Cabernet Sauvignon Blanc de Noir

A white wine made from a red grape variety: This Blanc de Noir made from Cabernet Sauvignon is the first white-vinified Cabernet Sauvignon from China. The grapes are pressed without skin contact, and that is exactly what gives the wine its unusual character.

The grapes come from Ningxia at the foot of the Helan Mountains, one of China's most important wine regions. The dry desert climate produces small, concentrated berries. Behind this is Château Changyu Moser XV, which bottles the wine under the name Helan Mountain Range.

Exotic and tropical fruit aromas appear in the glass. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied yet elegant, with fresh acidity and a fine structure. This ensures an animating flow.

We recommend serving it at 8–10 °C. It goes with an aperitif, fried fish, poultry with lemon, or mildly spiced Asian dishes.

Château Changyu Moser XV stands for wine from China, specifically for a style of viticulture that sounds different from what you might expect. Our focus is on Cabernet Sauvignon, a grape variety you are otherwise more likely to know from Bordeaux or California.

The wines show how versatile this grape can be: dark berry fruit, a spicy note, and a structure that invites you to pair it with food. They go perfectly with a pot roast or a strong hard cheese.
