Heitlinger Pinot Noir dry

A Pinot Noir from the Kraichgau hills that focuses on fruit and approachability – without seeming flat.

The Heitlinger winery is located in Östringen in northern Baden, one of Germany's warmest wine-growing regions. The loess loam soils and mild climate favor ripe, aromatically intense red wines. Heitlinger is one of the larger estates in the region and focuses on varietally typical, everyday wines with its Intuition line.

In the glass, the Pinot Noir displays aromas of dark cherry and blackberry, supported by subtle toasty notes – a hint of oak aging. The body is medium-bodied, the tannins soft and well-integrated. The finish remains fruity, with a touch of vanilla and dark chocolate.

Serving suggestion: Serve well chilled at 16–17 °C. Pairs well with pasta with tomato sauce, grilled salmon, or a flavorful lentil dish. Also a great, uncomplicated after-work wine on its own.

Heitlinger

VDP Member Estate

The Heitlinger winery in Östringen-Tiefenbach in the Kraichgau region is one of the leading names in German winemaking. Founded in 1960 by Albert Heitlinger, it is now an estate with over 110 hectares of vineyards – together with its sister winery, Burg Ravensburg, one of Germany's largest organic wine producers. Managing Director Claus Burmeister sums it up perfectly: wine should carry the true magic of a place to the nose and palate. Consistently biodynamic, Demeter-certified since 2023, and a member of the VDP (Association of German Prädikat Wine Estates) since 2012 – Heitlinger lives up to this commitment with every vintage. The limestone-dominated Kraichgau landscape, with its Burgundian Pinot Noir vineyards, provides the perfect setting for wines that combine depth, origin, and meticulous craftsmanship.
