With Heinz Heiler, the committed investor, momentum came into this not exactly small estate (40 hectares) in the Kraichgau. Not only the new design of the bottles, which won a design award, but also their contents convey the clear claim to the top position in this still underestimated region. The latest offspring of this development are the two cuvées »Black Tie« and »White Tie«. The experienced Claus Burmeister from Burg Ravensburg ensures continuity as operations manager. We are looking forward to the further path.

Winemaker Claus Burmeister's claim for these wines can be formulated simply: namely, to create fruity white wines that each have a special, individual character – and arrange themselves perfectly with the matching dish on the plate.
Soft and full-bodied substance carries the aromas of pear and red apple - a ripe, mild Auxerrois from the Heitlinger house.

Super wine for asparagus
The Winery
Weingut Heitlinger from Östringen-Tiefenbach in the Kraichgau region is one of the defining names in German viticulture. What was founded in 1960 by Albert Heitlinger is today an operation with over 110 hectares of vineyards – together with the sister winery Burg Ravensburg, one of the largest organically managed wine producers in Germany.
Managing Director Claus Burmeister puts it in a nutshell: wine should carry the true magic of a place to the nose and palate. Consistently biodynamic, Demeter-certified since 2023, and a member of the VDP since 2012 – Heitlinger lives this standard with every vintage.
The limestone-dominated Kraichgau landscape with its Burgundian Pinot sites sets the framework for wines that combine depth, origin, and artisanal precision.
