Weingut Dr. Heger

VDP Member Estate

The Weingut Dr. Heger – a country doctor laid the foundation in 1935. Max Heger bought fallow plots on the Ihringer Winklerberg, his son Wolfgang continued the business in the 60s. Today, oenologist Joachim Heger manages the estate in the third generation – together with his wife Silvia.

In addition to the Winklerberg, the property now also includes plots on the Achkarrer Schlossberg – both classified by the VDP as "Erste Lagen". On volcanic weathered soils with a layer of loess, wines with character, depth, and fine minerality grow here. Baden top class that you can taste.
