Pinot Gris Henkenberg GG

Pinot Gris Henkenberg GG
Henkenberg is considered one of the best Pinot Gris vineyards in Baden – and this Grand Cru shows why: dense, complex, with real depth.
Behind the Grauburgunder Henkenberg GG lies a single vineyard site that gives the wine its characteristic tension: mineral firmness meets ripe fruit, without either side gaining the upper hand.
On the nose, the wine opens with herbal spice, light toasty notes , and subtle stone fruit aromas – peach and ripe plum. On the palate, it presents a dense, powerful body with a noticeable creaminess: mirabelle plum, pear, and a hint of toasted brioche . The minerality is compact and almost salty, the finish tart, long, and accompanied by notes of light blossoms. A slight astringency gives the wine structure without being intrusive.
