Pinot Gris Henkenberg GG

The Henkenberg is considered one of the best Pinot Gris sites in Baden – and this Grosses Gewächs shows why: dense, complex, with real depth.

Behind the Grauburgunder Henkenberg GG is a single vineyard that gives the wine its characteristic tension: mineral tautness meets ripe fruit, without one side gaining the upper hand.

On the nose, the wine opens with herbal spice, light roasted notes, and restrained stone fruit – peach, ripe plum. In the mouth, a dense, powerful body with palpable melt: mirabelle, pear, a hint of toasted brioche. The minerality appears compact and almost salty, the finish tart, long, and accompanied by light blossoms. Light astringency gives the wine structure without disturbing.
